USB MODE
Notes:
If no USB stick is inserted into the device or if the files or USB stick are not recognised, 'NO' will
appear on the display.
USB sticks up to 32 GB in FAT format are recognised. Up to 999 tracks and 99 folders are
recognised.
Programme playback
When playback is stopped, you can programme tracks (MP3: 99 tracks). The tracks can be stored in any
order.
1. Press the [STOP button] during playback. The number of tracks on the USB stick will be shown on the
display.
2. Press the [PROG./RAN./REP. button] to start programming. 'Prog' will flash and 'P01' will be shown
on the display.

/ TUNE(+) button] and [
4. Press the [PROG./RAN./REP.-button] to complete the process for the first track. The display will now
show 'P02'.
5. Repeat steps 3 & 4 until the tracks are set in the desired order.

7. You can control playback of the programmed list in the same way as normal playback.
8. To stop programmed playback, press the [
and 'PROG' will be shown on the display. Press the [
programmed list ('PROG' will no longer be shown on the display).
AUX-IN MODE
This device has a 3.5 mm AUX IN jack. This jack can be used to connect other audio sources to this device
and play them back with amplification.
1. Press the [
/FUNC. button] several times to select AUX.
2. Plug an audio cable (Φ3.5mm) from your playback device into the 'AUX IN' socket.
3. Set the volume to the desired level.
4. Now connect the other end of the connection cable to your playback device, e.g. an MP3 player, and
play your desired music.
5. You can control playback on your playback device.
6. You can control the volume on the RCR2880 and the external playback device.
Notes:
If the volume on the external playback device is set too low, this may be detected as no audio
signal and the device will switch to standby mode after 15 minutes. Switch the device back on
and increase the volume.
Audio cables and external playback devices are not included in the scope of delivery.
