CASSETTE MODE
Control buttons
PLAY Press this button to play cassettes.
REW Press the button in stop mode to rewind the cassette.
F.FWD Press the button in stop mode to fast-forward the cassette.
Press the button to pause playback. Press the button again to open the cassette

Playback
1. Press the [ /FUNC. button] several times to select Tape.
2. Press the [STOP/EJ. button] to open the cassette compartment door.
3. Insert the cassette into the compartment with the open edge facing upwards.
4. Close the cassette compartment door.
5. Press the [REW button] or [F.FWD button] to rewind or fast-forward the tape to the desired
starting point.
6. Press the [PLAY button] to start playback.
7. Adjust the volume to the desired listening level.
Automatic STOP function
As soon as the end of the cassette is reached during playback, playback is automatically stopped and all
buttons on the cassette deck are set to the off position.
RADIO MODE
1. Press the [ /FUNC. button] repeatedly until a frequency is displayed.
2. Extend the telescopic antenna to its full length for better reception.
3. Tune to the desired radio station by pressing the [TUN. (-/+) buttons] on the device. The frequency is
shown on the display. As soon as the device receives a stereo signal, 'Stereo' is also shown on the
display.
Automatic station storage (SCAN/MEMORY)
1. To scan all stations within range, press the [
2. During the scan, stations are automatically programmed starting from memory location number 1
(P01).
3. Use the [10/FOLD./MEM.(-/+) buttons] during radio playback to select between the stored stations.
