Operating instructions
Battery
1. Remove the battery cover on the bottom of the clock radio by sliding it in
the direction of the arrow. If there is any insulation film around the battery,
remove it. The insulating film is used to maintain battery capacity during
transport and storage.
2. Slide the battery cover back into place.
Note:
• The battery will make sure that the clock radio's time and alarm settings
are not lost in the event of a power cut. The display will go blank, it will
not be possible to listen to the radio and the alarm will not sound when
the clock radio is powered by the backup battery.
• A new battery (CR2032) will keep the settings for about 3 days.
Setting the time, 12- or 24-hour clock and snooze time
1. Plug the mains adaptor both into a power point and the clock's power socket.
2. Press [ SET ]. The hours will begin to flash. Press or hold in [ ▲ ] or [ ▼ ] to
set the hours.
3. Press [ SET ] again. The minutes display will flash. Press or hold in [ ▲ ] or [ ▼ ]
to set the minutes.
4. Press [ SET ] until "12H" begins flashing on the display. Press [ ▲ ] or [ ▼ ]
to select a 12- or 24-hour time display.
5. Press [ SET ] once, the number "05" will begin to flash on the display.
Press [ ▲ ] or [ ▼ ] to set the snooze time (5–60 minutes).
6. Press [ SET ] again to save the settings and to return normal time display.
If no button is pressed for 10 seconds, the clock radio will automatically
return to normal time display.
Note: If the 12-hour clock display is chosen the "P" symbol will show on
the display. The "AM" symbol is not used or displayed.
Setting the alarm
1. Press [ AL 1•2 ]. Both "A1" (alarm 1) and the hours display will begin to
flash. Press or hold in [ ▲ ] or [ ▼ ] to set the hours.
2. Press [ AL 1•2 ] again. The minutes display will begin to flash. Press or
hold in [ ▲ ] or [ ▼ ] to set the minutes.
