Within the EU as well as within the majority of the other European Countries, the 2.4 and 5GHz frequency bands have been made available for the use of Wireless LANs. Sophos recommends that you check with the local authorities for the latest status of their national regulations for both the 2.4 and 5GHz frequency bands. - Seite 6 2.4835GHz (channels 1–13) and 5.170–5.250GHz (channels 36–48). It is restricted to indoor operation only. The Sophos access points AP 55, AP 55C, AP 100 and AP 100C operate in the frequency bands 2.400–2.4835GHz (channels 1–13), 5.170–5.250GHz (channels 36– 48), and 5.470–5.725GHz (channels 100-140, excluding channels 120, 124, and 128) only.
