• Avoid contact with leaking fluid: If a battery
leaks, avoid contact with the fluid and seek
medical help if necessary. In case of
accidental contact, rinse with water. If the fluid
gets into the eyes, seek immediate medical
attention. Leaking battery fluid may cause skin
irritation or burns.
Safety instructions in case of fire:
• Do not use conventional fire extinguishers:
Conventional extinguishers should not be used
on lithium-ion battery fires, as this may worsen
the situation.
• Call the fire department: Immediately
contact the fire brigade in case of a
lithium-ion battery fire.
• Avoid direct contact with the fire: Stay at
a safe distance and do not attempt to
extinguish the fire yourself.
Disposal:
Do not dispose of batteries in household waste!
Batteries and packaging must be recycled in an
environmentally friendly manner.
Defective or spent batteries must be collected
separately for proper recycling. Ensure that only
discharged batteries are placed in collection
containers. If not fully discharged, prevent short
circuits before disposal.
Return options for batteries:
Owners of household batteries may return
them free of charge to public collection points
or to return stations set up by manufacturers or
distributors in accordance with the Battery Act.
The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol indicates
that batteries must be collected separately from
unsorted household waste.

Battery usage instructions

The battery is pre-charged at the factory. Before
first use, check the battery level and fully charge it
once. (Please ensure that the battery is connected
to the socket in the chair's armrest before
charging – see p. 5). Without this connection
(battery → circuit), charging is not possible.
When the battery is empty and connected to
the armrest socket, power adapter, and external
power supply, the charge indicator will show the
charging progress:
• 4 lights = over 85%
• 3 lights = 75%
• 2 lights = 50%
• 1 light = 25%
Press button for one second to display the

charge level. After 10 seconds, the device
automatically switches to energy-saving mode.
Charging instructions:
During discharge, an alarm sounds when battery
voltage VBAT1 = 21 V ± 1 V. If it drops further to
VBAT1 - 0.5 V, the battery switches to "low
battery" mode and output is cut off. Pressing
displays the current level. If the charge is too low,
an acoustic alarm is triggered. After 30 seconds
of alarm, the battery pack switches to standby
mode. If this alarm sounds, recharge immedi-
ately –
operating the chair with an empty battery
is not possible. In "low battery" mode, output
remains cut off. Note: The battery pack must be
charged before first use.
Normal charging time: approx. 3–4 hours.
General information:
This battery must be charged with the original
charger (Type: GRP-90W290030-A). Using an
unsuitable charger may prevent full charging or
cause damage.
This battery supports two functions: simultaneous
charging/discharging, and charging/discharging
with interruption. The provided product charges/
discharges with interruption.
Operating temperature range:
Charging 0 to +40 °C.
After several charge/discharge cycles, cell voltages
may become unbalanced. Continuous charging
for over 40 hours can rebalance the cells.
