Note on the safe use of the TV chair
• The TV chair is intended for use on level,
stable, and non-slip surfaces only. This
ensures a secure stand.
• On surfaces with steep slopes or inclines,
unintended rolling or tipping may occur. In
such cases, the chair must always be secured
and supervised by a person during transport,
assembly, or temporary use.
• This helps reliably prevent possible injuries or
damage.
• Disconnect the supply when carrying out
maintenance and cleaning.
• Examine the appliance frequently for signs of
wear or damage. If there are such signs or if
the appliance has been misused or does not
work, contact the supplier for further
information.
• Do not allow children to play with fixed
controls.
• Keep remote controls away from children.
• When operating a switch that initiates and
maintains the movement of the furniture or
terminates the movement of the furniture or
causes a change of the direction of the
movement of the furniture, make sure that
other persons are kept away.
• Placement of furniture to avoid creating
entrapment hazards with other furniture.
Safety instructions for
battery (Model GRPM 1600 5)
Read all safety instructions and
warnings. Failure to follow these ins-
tructions may result in electric shock,
fire, and/or serious injury.
Keep batteries out of reach of children.
Retain all safety instructions and warnings for
future reference.
General safety instructions:
Follow the battery recommendations in your
product's operating manual. This ensures safe
operation of both the battery and the product
and protects the battery from dangerous
overload.
• Use only suitable chargers: Always use the
charger recommended by the manufacturer
(Type: GRP-90W290030-A) and avoid charging
with incompatible devices. Using a charger
designed for one type of battery with another
may cause a fire hazard.
• Avoid extreme temperatures: Excessive heat
or cold can impair battery performance and
lifespan. Do not expose the cells or the bat-
tery to fire or to temperatures above 60 °C.
• Prevent mechanical damage: Drops, im-
pacts, and pressure may cause short circuits
and fire.
• Do not overheat or overcharge: Overheating
and overcharging may lead to gas release,
explosions, or fire.
• Do not short-circuit: Avoid short-circuiting
the battery, as this may cause dangerous
reactions.
• Do not disassemble or open: Disassembly of
a lithium-ion battery is dangerous and should
only be carried out by professionals. There is a
risk of short-circuit.
Safety instructions for charging:
• Do not charge unattended: Avoid charging
lithium-ion batteries unattended, especially
overnight or when you are away.
• Use a fireproof surface: Always charge
batteries on a non-flammable surface.
• Watch for signs of overheating: If the bat-
tery or charger becomes hot during charging,
stop charging and allow the battery to cool.
• Do not exceed recommended charging
time: Do not exceed the manufacturer's
specified charging times.
Safety instructions for storage:
• Store batteries in a cool, dry place: Avoid
direct sunlight and high humidity.
• Keep away from flammable materials: Store
batteries away from combustible substances.
• Keep batteries out of reach of children and
pets: Prevent children or pets from playing
with batteries.
• Check storage conditions: Regularly check
the condition of batteries and store them
according to the manufacturer's
specifications.
Safety instructions in case of damage:
• Do not use damaged batteries: Do not use
or charge damaged batteries. Damaged or
mishandled batteries may release vapors,
catch fire, or explode. Provide fresh air and
seek medical advice if discomfort occurs, as
the vapors may irritate the respiratory tract.
• Dispose of damaged or defective batteries
properly: Contact a battery collection point or
the manufacturer for disposal.
