• Firstsetthe two eyepieces of the binocuarsto matchthe distance
betweenyour eyes(Pic A) by rotatingthe eyepieces a sshownin the
drawing Whenthe distancebetweenthe eyesis setcorrecty,the
observedobjectwi be visiblewithin a stable,circularfield (Pic B)
• Focus theoverallimageusingthe middleactuator(Pic C)
• f the imagestill appearsblurryand this cannotbe rectifiedwith the
middleactuator,usethe dioptreattachedto the oneof theeye pieces
Thedioptreis usedto correctfor nearsightedness or farsightedness.
• Closetheeyewhich is not ookingthroughthedioptre eyepiece.
• Correct a ny remainingblurrinessusingthe middleactuator.
