3. Installation site/Installation

The device is connected to 230 volts mains by a
qualified electrician.

4. Commissioning

Warning
Ensure a sufficiently large drain line
for duly backwashing the filter.
To determine the flushing capacity,
please see Installation Instructions
No. 35 09 458 73 or technical documen-
tation No. 37 259 00. Check the discharge
capacity by setting "TIME" to 6 seconds.
Remove the warning sign on the backwash
control only after mounting it to the filter.
Connect the power adapter to the mains and
the connection cable to the automatic backwash
control. Under operating voltage the automatic
backwash control backwashes all filter chambers.
