Never modify the power cord plug. Never use electric machines with adapted plugs. Unmodified plugs
and suitable sockets will reduce the risk of electric shock.
Avoid body contact with grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, refrigerators.
Do not expose electric machines to rain or in an environment with high humidity. Water entering the
electric machine will increase the risk of electric shock.
Do not use the cord to carry, pull or unplug the rotary hammer. Keep the cable away from heat, oil, sharp
edges or moving parts. Damaged or coiled cables increase the risk of electric shock.
When operating the rotary hammer outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Using a
cable suitable for outdoor work reduces the risk of electric shock.
Personal safety
Do not use the rotary hammer if you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A
moment of inattention while using the hammer can lead to serious injury.
Use protective equipment. Always wear eye protection.
Safety equipment such as dust mask, non-slip safety shoes, helmet or hearing protection, used in the
appropriate conditions, will reduce the risk of personal injury.
Avoid accidental start. Make sure the switch is in the off position before inserting the plug into the outlet.
Do not carry tools connected to the mains with your finger on the switch. Make sure that when
connecting to the mains, the switch is disconnected.
If applicable, remove the adjustment key from the chuck before starting the rotary hammer.
Do not adopt unusual body positions when using the rotary hammer. Keep your balance and stability of
your legs while working. This allows good control of the electric car in unexpected situations.
Dress appropriately. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair, clothes and gloves away from
moving parts. Loose clothing, jewelry or long hair can get caught in moving parts.
Rotary hammer operation.
Use the appropriate tool. Do not use tools with too little power or auxiliary devices for heavy work. It is
forbidden to use tools for purposes and works that are not the object of their destination. Do not use the
rotary hammer if the ON/OFF switch is defective (it does not turn on or off from the switch). Any electric
machine that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
Disconnect the plug from the power source before making any adjustments, changing accessories or before storing.
Such safety measures reduce the risk of accidental start-up.
Store non-operating electric machines away from children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with these
instructions to operate the electric machine. They are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
Perform maintenance on electrical machines. Check that there is no misalignment or moving parts that
come into contact, part failures and any other condition that can affect the operation of the rotary hammer.
If it is defective, contact an authorized RURIS service. Many accidents are caused by improperly
maintained electric cars
Keep cutting tools clean and sharp. Cutting devices that are properly maintained with sharp cutting edges
are easier to control.
Use the electric machine, accessories and drills in accordance with these instructions and in the manner
designed for the specific type of electric machine.
Safety instructions.
When using the hammer, always follow the enclosed safety instructions.
Wear ear protection while using the tool (exposure to noise can cause hearing loss).
Keep the cable away from the moving parts of the rotary hammer.
Before putting the tool down, stop it and make sure all moving parts have come to a complete stop.
In case of electrical or mechanical malfunctions, turn off the tool and disconnect the plug from the power
source.
Use only original accessories. Use accessories only with an allowable speed that corresponds at least to
the highest idle speed of the hammer.
This tool should not be used by minors.
Be careful not to drill or screw in areas where it may come into contact with electrical wires; always use
the auxiliary handle.
If the cable is damaged or cut while working, do not touch the cable, disconnect the plug from the power
supply.
Do not use the rotary hammer when the power cord is damaged; take it to a RURIS service center to be
replaced.
