SETTING UP & CONNECTIONS
1.
Mount the Platter -1- onto the Record Platter Hub -3-.
2.
Loop the included drivebelt -4- around the outside of the record
platter -1-, and then loop the belt around the drive hub -2-.
- Be careful not to let the rubber become twisted.
- Rotate the turntable (platter) several times to make sure
that the belt is secure.
3.
Align the small cutout in the drive hub cover -5- with the small
protuberance on the drive hub -2-. If these are not aligned,
the drive hub cover will slant.
4.
Place the supplied felt mat -27- over the Turntable Hub -3- onto the
Platter -1-.(Optional)
5.
Place the Counterweight -17- onto the Tonearm -12-.
NOTE! The Counterweight Scale -16- has to face forward.
6.
Screw the Headshell with Pick-Up System -11- securely (hand-tight)
into the Tonearm -12-.

Optional: The pick up system can be easily replaced if necessary:
a) First loosen the fastening screw on the headshell and disconnect the cable of the supplied pick-up system.
b) Remove the old pick-up system from the headshell.
c) Now connect the leads of the pick-up system and observe the assignment of wires
Colour:

White (L+)
Blue (L-)
Record Platter
Red (R+)
Green (R-)
d) Tighten the fastening screws on the headshell.
e) Align the cartridge using a cartridge protractor, following the Baerwald alignment principle.

Connect the included RCA cable to the Audio Output -18- and connect the cable to a phono input OR line input of your amplifier or
HiFi sound system.
NOTE! The connection to a phono or line input depends on the setting of the Pre-amp On/Off Switch -7-.
PRE-AMP OFF = phono input on your amplifier (or hi-fi system) or external phono stage

If needed, connect the USB cable to your computer for recordings. Please see the "USB Recording" section below for more information.

Connect the Power Supply Unit to its appropriate connection -21- and a power outlet.
10. Optional: Tonearm height adjustment
If the tonearm is not parallel to the record after changing the pickup system or system carrier during playback of a record, proceed as follows
to adjust the height of the tonearm.
a) Put a record on the turntable (platter support) and place the needle on the edge of the record.
The record platter must not be started at this moment.
b) Insert the supplied Allen key -24- into the hole of the height

adjustment screw and unscrew it counterclockwise to loosen
the tone arm support.
c) Hold the support and adjust the height to align the tonearm parallel to the record.
(Make sure that the tone arm does not swing to the left or right during the height adjustment).
d)
Turn the hexagon screw clockwise to fix the support for the tone arm.

Now start playing the record and make sure that the tone arm is balanced.
