When measuring in a wide or long space the
•
ultrasound impulses will reflect from objects
in a ± 7° solid angle; the device will show the
nearest object. The device will measure the
distance between itself and the object, not the
opposing wall. The device needs clear space in
front of it within ± 7° solid angle.
Do not point the laser directly in the eye.

When measuring hold the device perpendicu-

larly towards the surface of the object.
Results may vary if the reflecting surface is
•
uneven or soft.
Results may vary if another object is emitting
•
ultrasound nearby.
the device shows "error" if the following
apply:
The measured object is closer than 55 cm or

further than 12 m or the reflected ultrasound
impulses are not strong enough.
The size of the area exceeds 150 m

The size of the volume exceeds 1500.0 m
•
When measuring big distances: split the
•
measured area into 2 (or more) parts, and add
the values.
Measuring areas with irregular layout
When measuring areas with irregular layout, try
to split the area into several regular layout areas,
measure them and add the values.

The battery's state is displayed by the "Battery
state"icon on the LCD display. To ensure proper
functioning, replace the battery to a brand new
battery of the same type. If you do not plan to
use the device for a longer time period, remove
the battery.
Clean the device with a soft wet cloth. Never use
dilutions or other chemicals.
