IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Basic safety precautions are essential when using any electrical appliances:
1. Read all instructions.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces, use handles or knobs.
3. Do not immerse any part of the appliance in water or other liquid: electricity +
water is DANGEROUS!
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
5. Always unplug from socket when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool
before putting on or taking off parts.
6. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged flex , or plug or if there has been
any malfunctioning or damage. Return the appliance to customer service for
check up, repair or adjustment.
7. The use of accessories not recommended by manufacturer may cause injury.
8. Do not use outdoors.
9. Do not let the flex hang over the edge of the table or counter, or touch hot
surfaces.
10. If the flex is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified person in order to avoid
risk.
11. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
12. Do not move the appliance while containing hot liquids or food.
13. Do not touch food inside the steam cooker with the hands.
14. Do not touch the appliance when it is producing steam. Use oven gloves to
remove the lid, rice bowl and steam bowl.
15. To disconnect, remove plug from wall socket.
16. CAUTION: This appliance generates heat and escaping steam during use. Proper
precautions must be taken to prevent the risk of burns, or other injuries, fires or
damage to property.
17. Do not leave this appliance unattended during use.
18. THIS APPLIANCE IS FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY. Do not use the appliance for
other than intended use.
