Error display
If the switching thresholds are overrun or underrun the current value
the numeric display will indicate the kind of error.

The red LED lights up every time an error is
detected - error signal.
Selectable parameters
All parameters are stored in a EEPROM and are saved in case of
power outage.

Current type
Setting of the monitored current for alternate current (AC) or
direct current (DC).
Factory setting: AC
Measuring range
Setting of the current value to be monitored.
Measuring range (b1) = 0.0 ... 1 A at contacts B1-B3
Measuring range (b2) = 0.0 ... 15 A at contacts B2-B3
Factory setting: b2
Release hysteresis
The hysteresis is indicated in percent in relation to the respective
threshold. Hysteresis can be set from 1 % to 30 %. The overcurrent
state starts when the upper threshold plus hysteresis are exceeded.
The overcurrent state stops if the upper threshold is again underrun.
Example: With a hysteresis of 15 % and a switching threshold of
0.6 A the overcurrent starts at 0.6 A * 1.15 = 0.69 A and stops at
0.6 A.
The undercurrent state starts if the lower threshold less hysteresis
is underrun. The undercurrent state stops is the lower switching
threshold is exceeded again.
Example: With a hysteresis of 15 % and a switching threshold of
0.4 A the undercurrent starts at 0.4 A * 0.85 = 0.34 A and stops
at 0.4 A.

Threshold setting to monitor that the current does not fall below
the set threshold value

Upper switching threshold
Threshold setting to monitor that the current does not exceed the
selected threshold value.
Measuring range b1:
0.01 A ... 0.09 A

The upper threshold can not be less then the lower one.

Starting override
Starting override starts when the operating voltage is switched on.
Current monitoring only starts after the override time.
Starting override time can be set from 0 to 99 seconds.
Factory setting: 0 seconds
Response delay
The response delay defines the time an error (falling below or
exceeding the thresholds) has to exist before it is signalled at the
relay and the display. Also, the current has to be normal again for
Red
the same time before the error indication is automatically turned
LED
off. Response delay can be set from 0.1 to 9.9 seconds.

If the error memory is deactivated (FA) the relay is automatically
ON
reactivated if no more error is detected during the response delay
time.
If the error memory is activated (FE), the detected error is stored
until it is acknowledged with the [Q] button. Only then the relay
will switch back to its normal position.

Normal operation
If the current is in the allowed range it is indicated by one of the
following ways. The green LED is lighting, the red LED is off.

If the current is not within the allowed range; the red LED is
lighting and the green one is off. The error is indicated in the
seven-segment-display (see error indications).
Button functions
Parameter storing
When button [Q] is pressed the parameter set last is stored in the
EEPROM and the next parameter setting appears.
Repeat function of the buttons
Short pressing of the buttons [ ] or [ ] reduces or increases the
value by steps, if the button is kept pressed the value changes
stepless.
Timeout
If no button is pressed in a three minutes period during parameter
setting the setting procedure is interrupted. The 7-segment display
turns off and the last parameter is not stored in the EEPROM.
7. Parameter setting
Operating voltage has to be applied to the device for
parameter setting!
