25. Caution! The device remains live as long as it is connected to the power supply.
26. Always pull the adapter or remove the batteries before you exchange the needle, thread yarn into
the machine, or clean the device.
27. Turn off the device, and disconnect the mains adapter or batteries before replacing the bulb.
28. Use only the adapter recommended by the manufacturer, other adapters can cause hazards and/
or damage the machine.
29. Do not sew clothing while it is worn on the body.
30. There is a risk of injury from the needles moving up and down! Always work with caution and keep
an eye on the working area.
31. Do not touch the needle before it has come to a stop and the machine is turned off.
32. Do not pull or push the material while sewing. This may cause the needle to break.
33. Always check the threaded yarn before sewing. Improper threading or incorrect placement of the
bobbin in the chamber can damage the machine.
34. Always turn off the device before making any adjustments in the area of the needle, e.g. when
threading, replacing the needle, or replacing the foot, etc..
35. Never use a bent needle. A bent needle can break and cause injuries.
36. Don't place objects on the foot pedal (27) to prevent uncontrolled starting of the sewing machine.
37. Sew only fabric with this device. Other materials may damage the device and its accessories.
38. This manual describes only the operation of your sewing machine. Sewing skills and knowledge of
pertinent special terminology are required.
39. Use the carry handle (25) to transport the compact sewing machine.
This device is suitable exclusively for private household use.
Danger of suffocation! Keep all packaging material away from children.
Dispose of the packaging materials in an appropriate way. Contact your local
authorities about collection points or waste separation.
Risk of Injury! Always keep fingers and hands away from moving parts,
especially in the needle area.
Attention! Remove all batteries before you operate the compact sewing
machine with an adapter.

NOTES FOR BATTERIES

Only use top-quality batteries. Cheap batteries could leak and damage the device as a result.
If the batteries leak, remove them with a cloth and dispose of them accordingly. Ensure that leaking
battery acid does not come into contact with skin and eyes. If you do get battery acid in your eyes,
flush them thoroughly with lots of water and consult a physician immediately! If battery acid comes into
contact with your skin, wash the affected area with lots of water and soap.
If the device is not to be used for an extended period of time, then the batteries should be removed,
as the device could become damaged should they leak. If the device functions weaken, replace all
batteries.
Batteries do not belong in household waste! Expired batteries must be disposed of in an
environmentally friendly way and according to the applicable legal regulations.
Batteries are very dangerous if swallowed. Please keep the batteries and the device components
away from children at all times. If a battery is swallowed, seek medical attention immediately.
Batteries must not be recharged or activated with other means, dismantled, thrown into fire or
short-circuited.
Do not use old and new batteries or batteries of various types together.
Remove the batteries prior to disposing of the device.
