2.4 Inflating by mouth
WARNING
Never inflate the flotation device by mouth and trigger the CO2 cartridge afterwards. This may cause
over-inflation and serious damage. Do not fill the buoy with any gases other than CO2! Do not fill the
buoy with the help of an inflation device (e.g., pneumatic pump)! Avoid inhaling the CO2 gas from
the flotation device when topping up the buoy via the oral valve.
•
Remove the buoy from the pocket.
•
Fully unfold the buoy.
•
O pen the cap of the oral valve.
•
Inflate the buoy by blowing into the oral valve.
2.5 How do I make Restube automatic PRO ready for use again?
Use original Restube automatic PRO rearming kits to maintain warranty.

RESTUBE is not responsible for damages to equipment, injury, or death, as a result of
using third-party products, in combination with RESTUBE flotation devices.
After Restube has been activated, it must be prepared for use again. An original RESTUBE CO2
cartridge is required for rearming.
NOTICE
Only the original RESTUBE CO2 cartridges are 100% quality-certified, seawater resistant and
specifically calibrated for the Restube automatic PRO trigger.
Do not use comparable commercial CO2 cartridges!
These will not guarantee inflation of Restube in an emergency.
The CO2 cartridge
Restube automatic PRO guarantees functionality only
when using the original 38g RESTUBE-CO2-Cartridge.
•
Remove any dirt (e.g. sand).
•
Unscrew the empty CO2 cartridge and
dispose it with residual waste.
•
Fold the release lever away to avoid piercing
the new CO2 cartridge.
•
Place the new green securing clip on the red
indentation on the trigger mechanism.
•
Screw the original RESTUBE CO2 cartridge
firmly into the trigger mechanism
up to the marking.
The buoy
NOTICE
Pointed or sharp objects can damage the valve! The
buoy can only be fproperly folded when it is completely
deflated.
