Placement of play tower
The tower and swing frame must be placed freely, so that there is at least 2 m to the nearest high
obstacle, such as buildings, trees, fences and similar structures that can be climbed.
The surface around the play tower must meet shock absorption requirements and must not be
placed on asphalt or similar hard surfaces.
Grass has excellent shock-absorbing properties if it is properly maintained, green
and well trimmed.
If loose surfacing such as gravel is used, it should be 40 cm deep. See page 2 for the extent
of the impact area.
It is very important that the ground anchors are installed and that the ground into which they are
turned has a structure such that the ground anchors can hold the structure in place.
Keep an eye out for:
Make sure there are no broken glass, broken parts, or toys lying around in the impact area.
If the surface isn't even and at the original level, fix it.
Check regularly:
-
That the ground anchors are in the ground and hold the structure in place.
-
Tightening of joints or replacement of worn or defective parts.
-
Moving parts must be oiled.
-
Maintenance of shock-absorbing surfaces.
Never let small children play without adult supervision.
Please note:
Properties and characteristics typical of wood, such as:
Cracks in the surface. Can be filled with a suitable filler.
-
Resin pockets / resin extraction
-
Knots are also a natural component of wood.
-
Wood is a natural product
The above does not reduce the quality of the wood and therefore does not justify a complaint.
The product is pressure-impregnated at the factory, which results in the traditional green
pressure-impregnation colour. Due to the moisture content of the wood at the time of production,
the impregnation will primarily be absorbed into the surface. To extend the durability, it is therefore
advisable to treat the products with wood care products.
Ask your local colour expert about after-treatment.
