Walking with the rollator
First, test the use of the rollator on even, dry ground. If possible, have somebody with
you. After the initial test runs, once you feel more confident with it, try to use it on slo-
ping terrain. Always make sure that you use both brakes at the same time. Otherwise,
the walking frame would move around the braked wheel with the unbraked wheel and
you might fall down. Always try to move around obstacles in your path. If there are
steps look for a ramp, in case of stairs, take the elevator. If that is not possible, the
rollator must be carried across the obstacle. Whenever possible, ask another person to
help. To guarantee the stability of the rollator, all four wheels always have to touch the
ground while walking.
Tip-assist
Your walking frame is equipped with two tip-assists,
which are meant to help you to get across kerbstones.
By putting your foot on the tip-assist and simultaneously
pulling the rollator towards you with the handles, you lift

and other small obstacles with a minimum of strength.
Please always make sure that you have a firm foothold.
Brakes and locking brakes
Your walking frame is equipped with brakes, as well as
a locking brake against unintended motion. You activate
the locking brake by pressing down the brake levers until
they are engaged with an audible click (Fig. 1). To release
the locking brake, pull up the brake levers again (Fig. 2).

must engage the locking brakes. Otherwise, the walking frame might roll off and you
could fall down. Do not use an additional cushion, as it might shift and you may fall
down. Do not move the rollator when you or someone else is seated on it. This could
result in injuries or damages to the walking frame. Sit on the rollator only when the
