c) Operation

• The product is not a toy. Devices that are operated with mains voltage have no
place in the hands of children. Therefore, be particularly careful when children
are present.
Operate the product in a way that it is out of reach of children.
Children could attempt to poke objects into the device openings. There is danger
to life from electric shock!
• The product is only suitable for operation in dry, closed rooms. No part of the
product must become damp or wet; do not touch it with damp or wet hands! The-
re is danger to life from electric shock!
• When setting up the product, make sure that the cables are neither bent nor
pinched.
• Handle the product with care; impacts, shock or fall even from low heights will
damage it.
• Avoid the following adverse ambient conditions at the site of setup or during
storage or transport:
- Dampness or too high humidity
- Cold or heat, direct solar radiation
- Dust or flammable gases, fumes or solvents
- Strong vibration, impact or blows
- Strong magnetic fields as present near machines or speakers
• Never operate the device immediately after it was taken from a cold room to a
warm room. The resulting condensation may lead to malfunctions or damage!
Moreover, there is the risk of a fatal electric shock!
Wait until the mains unit has reached room temperature before connecting the
mains adapter to the mains supply and operating the mains unit. This may take
several hours!
• Do not impair the installed fan in operation. Never cover the fan or ventilation
openings.
