• The socket to which the mains cable for the mains unit is connected must be
easily accessible.
• Do not pull the mains plug from the mains socket by pulling the cable.
• Protect the mains cable from damage.
• Place the mains cable where no one can trip over it.
• If the mains adapter or mains cable are damaged, do not touch it. Danger to life
from electric shock!
First switch off the mains voltage for the mains socket to which the mains
adapter/mains cable is connected (switch off the corresponding circuit breaker or
turn out the fuse, then switch off the FI protection switch so that the mains socket
is separated from the mains voltage on all poles).
Only then unplug the mains adapter from the mains socket. Dispose of the
damaged mains adapter or mains cable in an environmentally compatible way.
Do not use it anymore.
A damaged mains cable can be replaced by a mains cable of the same build.
• Observe the operating instructions of all devices that are connected to the mains
unit.
• If you are not sure about the correct connection or operation, or if there are any
questions that are not covered by the operating instructions, do not hesitate to
contact us (for contact information, see chapter 1) support or another specialist.
b) Site of Setup
• The product is intended for dry indoor setup and use only. It must not become
damp or wet. Never set up the product next to any sinks, bath tubs, etc.
• Choose a solid, flat, clean and sufficiently large surface for the product.
• Never place the product on a flammable surface (e.g. carpet, tablecloth). Always
use a suitable, non-flammable, heatproof surface.
• Do not place the product on any valuable furniture surfaces without using suitable
protection. Heat may cause colour or material changes. Scratches or pressure
points on the furniture surface are possible as well.
