EN - INSTRUCTIONS
Before installation please read the specifications to make sure
that this product is suitable for the operating environment.
➢ This product is only compatible with its supplied 18V Makita
adapter.

1. Before use: pull out the LED Rope from the roller.
2. Make sure to pull out the entire LED Rope from the roller
before connecting the battery adapter.
3. Plug the 18V Makita battery into the adapter.
4. Press ON/OFF button to switch on the light.
5. Adjust light output (100%/50%/25%) with dimmable button.
6. After use, let the LED Rope cool down before rolling it back
on the roller. The Rope expands and this can damage the
turning mechanism.
7. It is not possible to shorten the LED rope.
Warnings - Safety - Caution
• All safety instruction must be followed to avoid a risk of injury
or property damage.
• To prevent overheating, maintain at least 12mm spacing
between the LED ropes.
• Do not connect the rope light to the battery while it is in the
packing or on reel.
• Not suitable for use in extreme conditions or locations
involving harmful substances.
• Do not cut the LED rope and/or adapter cable.
• Do not heavy press or overbend during installation and
mounting should be firm, not hanging.
• Do not use iron wire or other metallic wire to fasten.
• Do not cover the product. Do not attach other items to the
product. Store and install the product out of the reach of
children. Only use the product when it is working perfectly.
• Do not touch the product in the event of a fault or
breakdown. Immediately switch off the product and
disconnect the power supply.
• The following situations are meant by fault or breakdown:
there is visible damage to the product, the product is not
working perfectly (e.g. it is flickering), there is a burning
smell, the results of overheating are visible.
• Testing and small repairs must be carried out by a qualified
electrician.

Maintenance
In order not to adversely affect the service life, it is advisable to
clean the fixture on a regular basis. Only use a soft cloth and
water. Avoid exposure to volatile chemical substances such as
alcohol, petrol or pesticides.
Disposal
Electrical products may not be disposed of in the same way as
normal household waste. Take the table lamp to a place where
it can be recycled. Consult the local authorities or the seller for
advice about collection and processing.
Warranty
The warranty period will begin on the day on which the product
was purchased from Bailey and will end after 2 years. If a defect
occurs within the warranty period as a consequence of material
faults and/or manufacturing errors, Bailey will replace the
product. The warranty does not cover consequential damage,
nor will any call-out charges, transport costs or installation costs
be reimbursed. The warranty does not apply if:
• There is no information, or there are no documents, referring
to the date of purchase (invoice or delivery note).
• The model and/or serial number located on the product is
unrecognizable (include photo of product sticker or imprint
with specifications).
• The defect was caused by improper use of the product or
use not as intended, or by use in extreme conditions or in
conditions involving harmful substances.
• Damage to the product was caused by external factors.
• The product is modified.

product geschikt is voor gebruik in de huidige situatie.

1. Voor gebruik: trek de LED Rope uit de rol.
2. Zorg ervoor dat u de hele LED Rope afrolt voordat u de
batterijadapter aansluit.
3. Sluit de 18V Makita-accu aan op de adapter.
4. Druk op de ON/OFF-knop om het licht in te schakelen.
5. Pas de lichtopbrengst aan (100%/50%/25%) met de
dimknop.
6. Na gebruik LED Rope eerst af laten koelen voordat je hem
weer oprolt in de cassette. De Rope zet namelijk uit en dit
kan het draaimechanisme beschadigen.
7. Het is niet mogelijk om de LED Rope in te korten.
Waarschuwingen – Let op – Veiligheid
• Alle veiligheidsinstructies moeten worden opgevolgd om het
risico op letsel of materiële schade te voorkomen.
• Om oververhitting te voorkomen, dient u minimaal 12 mm
afstand tussen de LED-Ropes aan te houden.
• Sluit de lichtslang niet aan op de accu terwijl deze in de
verpakking zit of op de haspel zit.
• Niet geschikt voor gebruik in extreme omstandigheden of
locaties waar zich schadelijke stoffen bevinden.
• Knip de LED rope en/of adapterkabel niet door.
• Druk of buig niet te zwaar tijdens de installatie en monteer
stevig, niet hangend.
• Gebruik geen ijzerdraad of ander metaaldraad om te
bevestigen.
• Dek het product niet af. Product niet gebruiken om andere
zaken aan te bevestigen. Product buiten bereik van kinderen
