Take the cloth, fold it and look for the middle.
1
Grab the upper edge with both hands and place the cloth around your stomach from front to rear,
2
like an apron. Work only with the upper edge while doing so.
Grab the cloth behind your back with the left hand, and with the right hand from below hold the
3
emerging skirt in order to cross the cloth strips on the back and pull these widely apart.
Grasp the upper edge with your hands in order to place the cloth strips over the shoulder from back
4
to front.
Gather the entire width of material on both sides towards the throat without twisting the cloth.
5
Gather the emerging sash from the thigh upwards so that the cloth strip runs near the body in the
6
area of the navel, and tighten the cloth over the shoulders without stretching. Check whether both
cloth ends are the same length or correct them again.
As soon as the cloth strip lies proximal to your stomach, guide the two cloth ends within and through
7
the cloth strip running around your stomach.
Cross the two cloth strips, guide them rearward on your back, and fix both cloth ends with a double
8A
knot. Should the cloth ends be too long, you can fix them with a double knot in front of your
8b
stomach.
Now shove the gathered cloth strip around your stomach downward, take your baby and place it
9
on a shoulder. With the free hand, grab the nearest leg beneath one of the cloth strips running over
your shoulders.
Change the shoulder, again grab the other leg with the free hand beneath the cloth strip running over
10
your shoulder, and put it in the emerging cross. It may be a bit too tight here during the first use,
since the cloth sags a bit when carrying.
Cross both cloth strips on your baby's back and spread out the material. While doing so, the baby's
11
arms remain with in the cloth strips and wrap around your body. First of all, spread out the inner
cloth strip so that the material runs from one of your baby's hollow of the knee to the other.
Spread out the outer cloth strip afterwards. The cloth strips should run upward in the entire width
12
and cross shortly beneath the nape of your baby's neck.
Grab the horizontal cloth strip running around your stomach, and lift this over your baby's legs.
13
Spread this cloth strip across your baby's back. The upper cloth edge has to be in the neck area,
14a
and the lower cloth edge has to sit in the hollows of your baby's knees.
14b
To take the cloth off, shove the cloth strip running horizontally on your baby's back in the hollows of your
baby's knees. Shove the now visible cross cloth strips downward and to the outside right, and lift your
baby's legs over the horizontal cloth strip.
Always shove the flat hand from behind through the cloth strips running over the shoulder, and allow the
material to glide downward until your baby's feet are exposed. If your baby has fallen asleep, bend your
upper body forward and lay your baby down. Your baby will normally continue to sleep.
