Set-Up and Connection

1. Place the device on a dry and heat-resistant fl at surface at a safe distance from
fl ammable objects. Make sure that there is suffi cient clear space around the device
after it has been set up.
2. Insert the mains plug into a properly installed 220 - 240 volt plug socket.

3. Open the glass door.
4. Insert the crumb collection tray if necessary.
5. As required, slide just the rack or the rack and the baking tray into the bottom, middle
or top rail.
6. Place the food onto the rack or baking tray. Then close the glass door.
7. Set the temperature control dial TEMP to the temperature you require. To do this,
turn it clockwise.
8. Turn the FUNKTION (function) operating switch clockwise to set the desired function.
9. To start the baking process, use the TIMER to set the desired time (maximum of 120
minutes). Or select the stay-on-function (AN) to switch the device on for longer than
120 minutes. Please note here that the device does not switch itself off. The control
lamps lights up after the time has been set on the timer.
If the TIMER is set to AUS (off), the oven will not be switched on.
10. When the set time has elapsed, a buzzer is heard and the device automatically stops
any further supply of heat. Then turn all switches to MIN or AUS.
11. If you want to stop the baking process prematurely, turn the timer to the AUS position
to switch off the device. Then also turn all switches to MIN or AUS.
12. Open the glass door and carefully remove the baking tray or rack. Always use
potholders or oven gloves to do this. Place the baking tray / rack on a heat-resistant
surface. A baking tray gripper is supplied with the device and makes it easier for you
to remove the baking tray or the rack.
13. Let the oven cool down. Then clean it and the accessories you have used (see the
"Cleaning" chapter). Do not allow any food residues to dry on the device.

Grilling with the rotary spit

1. Open the glass door and remove the grate from the oven and slide the baking sheet
into the bottom rail to protect the bottom heating elements against dripping fat.
2. Pick up the rotary spit. The rotary spit includes two holders to fi x larger food such as
chicken. The holders are attached to the spit using the enclosed eye screws. At fi rst,
push one holder on the spit (the eye screw must be loose in the process), then the
food and fi nally the second holder.
3. Place the holder and the food in the centre of the spit and push the tips of the holders
into the food.
4. Fix the holders by tightening the eye bolts.
5. Place the rotary spit on the rotary spit grip.
6. Position the rotary spit in the oven now: An opening is located in the centre of the
inside wall on the right hand of the oven. Insert the tip of the spit here. Afterwards,
place the free end of the spit in the holder on the left oven inner wall.
