The Welding Hose Reel automatically retracts air hose using an internal
spring motor. When hose is pulled from reel, it is pulled against the tension
of the spring motor, The more hose is pulled out, the greater the tension built
up in spring motor. NEVER LET GO OF HOSE WHILEPULLING
FROMREEL. Letting go will allow hose to rewind at an uncontrolled speed,
possibly damaging the internal spring or anything in its proximity.
1. Welding hose should be pulled out slowly from reel. As hose is pulled
from reel, the entire drum rotates.To prevent extra wear on welding hose,
periodically checto ensure guide rollers are operating smoothly.
2. As reel drum rotates, the locking mechanism makes a short series of
clicking sounds each revolution.In one revolution, there are a total of 6/12
locking positions.
3. Locking reel in position: slow down pulling motion as desired length of
hose is approaching is ten for ratcheting clicks, then reduce tension to lock
into position.
4. Retracting hose into reel: Pull out the hose slowly until the first series of
clicks stop. This means the locking mechanism has cleared the locking gear.
ACAUTION:
DO NOT RELEASE THE HOSE. Slowly rewind the hose until the hose
stopperrests against guide collar.

Note: Mounting hardware (four 3/8" bolts and four washers) is not included
and must be purchased separately, Decide first where reel will be mounted
before purchasing hardware. Different mounting positions may require
