Installation and operating instruction E235-NFS
The main disconnection switch control the phase conductor
and switch off (de-energized) when the last consumer turned
off.
With support of an AC extra-low voltage (5V AC) the E 235
NFS detects immediately an consumer (inductive or capaci-
tive). The closing operation take place, if the consumer load
exceeds the adjustable contact current closing rating.
If the consumer load falls under 2/3 of the adjustable contact
current closing rating the relay switch off. The integrated LED
indicates the on-state.
The rotary switch allowed to choice between " automatically
control" or "Permanent ON".
The mains disconnection switch could be manual switch on
with the additional base load adaptor E235-GLA. The adaptor
must be plugged in the monitored socket outlet.
With the toggle switch could be switched the E 235-NFS on
and off.
This could be necessary for consumers with electronic power
controller as brightness control for lamps, speed regulator of
vacuum cleaner, drilling machines etc. to recognize.
The pilot lamp of the adaptor shows, independent of the
toggle switch position the on supply voltage. On this evidence
you will see if the supply voltage is off or another consumer
are still turned on.
For stationary installation of consumers, switching depen-dent
on line voltage, as fluorescent lamps, in this cases there is the
PTC base load element E 235-GLE available.
Should connect a dimmer on the output of the mains discon-
nection switch, so must be an additional switch contact avai-
lable on the dimmer for the base load element.
Attention: Mounting and dismounting only permissible
by authorized electrician!
Installation in the desired position by means of snap-on
fastening to DIN rails acc. to EN 60715 35mm width.
The monitoring supply conductor lies after the line protection
and the mains disconnection switch. The neutral must be
connected to the allowed terminal.
Be careful – An exchange of input and consumer output
lead to destruction of the switch!
Warning notice: Do not touch the switched off de-energized
lines.
The resistance of the human body is low enough to switch on
the main disconnection switch. The places where the E 235-
NFS could de-energized and are accessible for meddler please
mark these with the accompanied stickers.
