Cleaning
• Do not use wire brushes or other abrasive tools.
• Do not use acidic or abrasive cleaning agents.
• Clean the perforated area of the spout from the inside using a nylon brush.
• Rinse the interior of the kettle body with clean water.
• Then dry thoroughly with a cloth.
• After use, wipe the outer surface of the kettle with a slightly damp cloth.
Descaling the Kettle
• The frequency of descaling depends on the hardness of the water and how often the
appliance is used.
• If the kettle switches off before the water starts to boil, it may need descaling.
• After descaling, boil fresh water in the kettle several times (approximately three times)
to remove any residue. Do not consume this water.
Disposal
Electrical appliances, their accessories, and packaging should be recycled in an
environmentally friendly manner wherever possible. They must not be disposed of
with regular household waste. This applies only within the EU. In accordance with
Directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE) on the disposal of waste electrical and electronic
equipment, appliances that are no longer in use must be collected and recycled in an
environmentally responsible manner.
