MAINTENANCE

The manufacturers, or their agents overseas, will provide a repair service
for any instrument developing a fault. Where owners wish to undertake
their own maintenance work, this should only be done in conjunction
with the Service Manual which may be purchased from the Manufacturer
or their agent overseas.
When the instrumentis connected to its supply. terminalsmay be live.
and the opening of covers is likely to expose live parts. The instrument
shall be disconnectedfromall voltage source before it is openedfor any
adjustment, replacement, maintenance or repair.
Any adjustment, maintenance and repair of the opened instrument
under voltage shall be avoided as far as possible and, if inevitable, shall
be carried out by a skilled person who is aware of the hazard involved.
