Moisture and rain can damage these devices.
• Do not use the battery or charger in the vicinity of vapours
or flammable liquids.
• The battery and charger must be kept dry and may only be
used at an ambient temperature of 10-40°C.
• Do not store the battery in places where temperatures may
exceed 40°C (e.g. in a parked car exposed to sunlight).
• Batteries must be protected against overheating.
Overloading, overcharging and direct sunlight can lead
to overheating and cell damage. Overheated batteries
must not be charged or used, and should be replaced
immediately.
• Batteries and chargers should only be stored in dry rooms
at an ambient temperature of up to 40°C. The lithium-ion
battery should ideally be stored in a cool, dry place.
Protect from humidity and direct sunlight. Always store
batteries in a charged state, with a charge level of at
least 40%.
• The lithium-ion battery must never be exposed to sub-zero
temperatures. Batteries that have been exposed to
temperatures below 0°C for more than 60 minutes should
be disposed of.
• Be careful when handling batteries with regard to

electrostatic charge: electrostatic discharges can damage
the protective electronics and the battery cells. Therefore,
electrostatic charging should be avoided and the battery
terminals should never be touched.
