Operation
•
F) If locking-pin (19) is in horizontal position, the slider car (18) is blocked in the
lowest position. The shade roof can be tilted in three different angles of inclination,
related to the altitude of the sun.
•
Sligthly pull main support arm (7) by hand to the mast. Pull locking-pin (19) and
turn in vertical position (G). The slider car (18) can move freely along the mast.
•
Freed manually the ribs before opening the first time. Turn crank (H) slowly clock
wise until canopy is taut. Slider car will move upwards at the same time. Never
force the ribs.
•
Turn Locking-pin in horizontal position (F) so that the slider car (18) can lock in the
upper position (M).
•
I) IMPORTANT: After the first opening you MUST insert the spacer-buttons (17)
with enclosed screws onto each rib. Holes on each rib have been predrilled. The
spacer buttons prevent the ribs from closing completely and make it much easier
to reopen the umbrella.
•
J) To rotate the umbrella, just lift the turning handle (3), turn umbrella in required
position and lower the handle to lock the mast.
•
K) Unscrew the adapter (15) on the slider (14) to fix the optional LED-light (L).
Tilting of shade roof
•
M,N,O) The shade roof can be tilted in three different angles of inclination. There
are three holes along the rail of mast profile, where the locking-pin (19) can be
locked. The following steps are required for this:
•
Pull horizontal locking-pin (19) and turn 90° in vertical position (G) the slider car
move freely.
•
Turn crank counter clockwise, slider car will slide downwards.
•
Turn locking-pin in horizontal position (F). Pin will engage in the next hole (N),
slider car is blocked. (Canopy will close also a bit)
•
Turn crank clock wise to reopen the shade roof until taut.
•
For lowest position (O) locking pin (19) must be locked at the bottom. Turn pin in
horizontal position, pull main support arm (7) towards the mast until pin is locked.
Now the umbrella ca be opened with crank handle.
•
The manipulation is always the same as above, to lower in one of the position (N,
O) or reverse to horizontal position.
