Operation Of The Device

1. Place the soldering iron and the hot air gun on the respective stands.
2. Connect to power outlet.
3. Install the nozzle onto the hot air gun.
4. Press the power switch to turn on the station, the two displays will show "OFF". Then long press and the ON/OFF button of the
solder iron or the hot air gun, in order to start either of the two devices.
5. Setting the temperature of the hot air gun: rotate the temperature ("TEMP") knob to the desired temperature (temperature range
100-500°C); Setting the air volume of the hot air gun: rotate the ("AIR") knob to the desired air volume (air volume level range 20-
100%); Setting the temperature of the solder iron: rotate the temperature ("TEMP") knob to the desired temperature (temperature
range 180-480°C).
6. Setting the soldering iron sleep mode: long press the solder iron ON/OFF button in the off state of the station, turn on the station
at the same time, release the solder iron ON/OFF button when the screen shows "ON", then press the solder iron ON/OFF button
to switch between sleep mode on or off, wait for 3-5 seconds to confirm your choice, the screen flashes once and then your setting
will be saved. When the sleep mode of soldering iron is turned on, the device will enter sleep mode automatically after 20 minutes
when there is no operation. In sleep mode, the temperature of the soldering iron remains at 180°C.
7. Entering sleep mode for the hot air gun: Place the air gun handle on the stand, in order to turn on the sleep mode. The screen
displays "..." The temperature of the hot air gun remains at 100°C. Pick up the hot air gun handle again to wake up the device.
8. Temperature calibration: In order to calibrate the temperature (in case of temperature differences), you need a temperature
measuring device. If the measured temperature is different to the temperature shown in the screen of the station, you can use a
small screwdriver and put it into the "CAL" hole. Turning the screwdriver clockwise will increase the temperature, turning the
screwdriver counterclockwise will decrease the temperature.
Inspection And Replacement Of The Heating Element Of The Hot Air Gun
Inspection of the heating element of the hot air gun:
A. Removing the heating element
1. Loosen the 3 screws on the handle
2. Move the protective tube downwards
3. Open the handle cover, remove the grounding plate and remove the heating element enclosure
WARNING: The stainless steel gasket at the front of the heating element in the air duct and the mica clamp at the rear of the
heating element are safety components. Do not lose them. Please install them in order.
4. Remove the terminal and pull out the heating element.
B. Measuring the resistance value
1. Measure the resistance value of the heating element [thick wire]. The normal value is 70-100Ω (at room temperature). Measure
the resistance value of the sensor [thin wire]. The normal value is {<} 2Ω. Please replace it if it is abnormal.
WARNING: Be careful when touching the heating element. Do not rub the heating element wire.
