Operating Instructions
1. Setting the temperature:
Press the "Up" button in order to increase the temperature of the soldering iron (short press / long press)
Press the "Down" button in order to reduce the temperature of the soldering iron (short press / long press)
2. Temperature calibration:
Short press the up and down buttons at the same time for 1 second, then press the up or down button for setting the temperature
calibration (±99°C).
3. Switching between Fahrenheit and Celsius:
Long press the up and down buttons at the same time for 3 seconds to switch between °C/°F.
4. Setting the sleep function
When the soldering iron is switched off, press either the up or down button together with the power button for 3 seconds. The
screen will flash 3 times, indicating that the sleep function of the device is activated. If you do the procedure again, the sleep
function will be deactivated. When the sleep function is activated and the soldering iron is not used or moved for 15 minutes, then
the soldering iron will enter sleep mode. This will be indicated by the screen showing "---" as well as that the iron has stopped
heating.
5. Leaving sleep mode
Press any button or move the soldering iron to leave sleep mode.
Replacement of the soldering tip
Attention: Only remove the tip when the soldering iron is cold and not connected to the mains!
