Solar Panel installation steps
Install mount

• Install the short wall mount near
your camera.
• Place your mount in a location with
guaranteed sunlight exposure to
maximise the functionality of your
solar panel's charging capabilities.
• Ensure that there are no objects or
structures that will obstruct sunlight
from reaching the solar panel.
• Use the provided mounting screws to
secure the wall mount in place.

• Attach the solar panel to the short wall
mount by connecting the insertion point
on the back of the solar panel with the
head of the mount.
• Turn the knob at the head of the short
wall mount to lock in the solar panel.
• Adjust the solar panel to achieve your
desired angle.

Attach adapter to Solar Panel

• Plug the barrel connector of the USB-C
adapter to the solar panel power cable.
Connect charger

• Connect the other end of the adapter
to your camera's charging port.
Device charging

• Open the Arlo Secure App and navigate
to your camera's live view. Look for the
solar charging battery icon to confirm
your device is charging.
• Weather conditions may limit direct
sunlight access to your device. Take
such factors into consideration when
checking the device charging status, as
the charging icon may not immediately
appear in the Arlo Secure App.
