• The device can be charged during use or while recording is in progress via the
USB-C input socket on the receiver (D).
• It is not possible to charge the microphone during use or while a recording is in
progress.
• The microphone is equipped with a rechargeable battery and must be charged
before use.
• The receiver is not equipped with a battery and does not need to be charged as it is
supplied with power via the device/recording device.
• The USB-C charging socket on the microphone also serves as a USB-C headphone
socket - so you can monitor the ongoing recording in real time using headphones.
• The microphone has an automatic intelligent noise cancellation function.

the operating instructions of your device for more information.
The enclosed USB-C cable is solely for charging and does not support data transfer.
This USB-C cable is exclusively for the Hama Wireless Microphone (item No.
00004680)!
5. Commissioning - connection to smartphone, tablet etc.:
• Connect the receiver to your recording device by plugging it into the USB-C socket (A).
• Activate the OTG function on your recording device.
• To switch on the microphone, press the microphone's On-Off switch for 1 second,
the indicator LED then ashes alternately red and green (B).
• The receiver's indicator LED lights up red (C) constantly.
• Then open the camera on your recording device (using a camera app if necessary -
see also point 4. System requirements)
• The indicator LED of the microphone is constantly lit in green.
• The microphone and receiver are now ready for video/sound recording.
5.1. Operation - Status LED
Microphone
Switch on:
• Press switch for 1 second / red and green LEDs flash alternately.
Switch off:
• Press the switch for 2 seconds / no LED light, automatic shut-off after
disconnection for over 1 minute / no LED light.
