Switching the auger to anti-clockwise rotation can help to release the auger from the ground
again.
Cleaning and care
Clean the outside of the device with a soft, damp cloth if necessary. Do not use abrasive clea-
ning agents or harsh chemicals. Do not use any metallic cleaning objects.
The drill (not the appliance itself) can be cleaned under running water with a brush when
removed.
General safety instructions for rechargeable batteries

Batteries may only be charged by children under adult supervision. Please keep away from
children at all times.
•
The electrolytes and electrolyte vapors contained in a rechargeable battery are harmful to
health. Avoid direct contact at all times. If electrolytes come into contact with skin, eyes or
other parts of the body, rinse immediately with plenty of fresh water. Then consult a doctor.
•
Stop use or the charging process immediately if the battery swells, leaks, has a high tem-
perature or emits smoke and strong odors.
•
If you do not use the device for a longer period of time, please remove the battery or
charge it in between. Connected batteries can become deeply discharged and must then
no longer be used or recharged.
•
Do not immerse rechargeable batteries in water.
•
Rechargeable batteries must be removed from the product before charging.
•
Do not short-circuit the battery (connect + and - polarity).
•
Used batteries must be removed directly from the device.
•
Do not disassemble or open batteries as this can lead to burns from the electrolytes.
•
Do not expose batteries to excessive heat, e.g. direct sunlight, fire or similar. Do not place
them on a heater.
•
Do not dispose of rechargeable batteries by destroying or burning them and do not dis-
pose of them in household waste. Dispose of them in accordance with local regulations.
•
Please note that the end user is legally obliged to return used batteries and that used
batteries can be returned to dealers free of charge.
