Is the chuck not clamping the drill bit properly?
Debris may be lodged between the chuck and one of the jaws inside the chuck. Remove foreign
objects from the inside of the chuck.
Spray dry lubricant or another workshop lubricant into the end of the chuck.
Ensure that you protect your eyes when spraying the lubricant.
Operating instructions
1. Drilling holes
Place the cordless drill on the planned drilling location and switch on the drill.
Insert the drill bit into the ground with pressure. In firmer soil, we recommend occasional, alter-
nating pushing and pulling movements to remove any soil that may slip out of the hole.
For drill holes that are larger than the circumference of the drill bit, move the drill bit back and
forth sideways or reposition it next to an existing drill hole.
Clockwise rotation is used for drilling into the ground, anti-clockwise rotation can make it easier
to pull out the drill bit.
2 Loosening the soil
Place the cordless garden auger on the area to be worked on and switch it on.
Hold the auger at a slight angle so that the auger itself loosens the soil through its rotary
motion.
It does not matter whether the drill is moved sideways or forwards and backwards.
3. Removal of smaller weeds
Place the cordless garden auger over the center of the root, switch on the device and remove
the weed with root. Branching roots and offshoots can also be removed by moving the auger
sideways.
Important operating instructions
Keep clothing and accessories, hands and other persons away from the garden drill while the
battery is installed.
Before drilling, make sure that there are no underground supply lines.
Before operation, ensure that you have a stable stand in order to have sufficient control over
the device during drilling. Set the cordless garden drill to clockwise rotation mode (R).
Do not step on the cordless drill to feed it into the ground, keep your feet and legs away from
the drill.
The cordless garden drill was developed for drilling into the ground. Do not attempt to drill into
other substrates.
If the cordless garden drill encounters an obstacle, the motor will stop automatically.
Release the switch and make sure that the obstacle has been removed before continuing to
dig.
