User safety
REMOVE THE BATTERY BEFORE DISASSEMBLING/ASSEMBLING THE SHOVEL OR
AUGER OR WHEN YOU ARE NOT USING THE CORDLESS GARDEN AUGER TO PREVENT
THE TOOL FROM BEING SWITCHED ON ACCIDENTALLY.
Do not wear loose clothing or accessories. Avoid contact with moving parts of the appliance,
even when it is switched off.
Keep hair away from the drill. Hair can get caught in moving parts.
Keep the work area clean and well lit. Do not operate the cordless garden drill in the vicinity of
explosive liquids, gases or dust. The cordless garden drill can generate sparks that can ignite
waste.
Keep your distance from children and other persons when operating the cordless garden drill.
Pay attention to your working environment and other people in the vicinity.
Use protective equipment when working, including eye and hand protection. Dust masks, non-
slip shoes, hard hats and hearing protection reduce injuries.
Product safety
Keep the appliance clean during storage. Loose particles can impair the function of the motor
and drill bit.
Before using the cordless garden drill, make sure that the device is working properly.
Ensure that the handle of the device is dry and secure to ensure safe operation.
Do not attempt to dig materials other than soil.
Do not use the appliance in wet conditions. Wetness can lead to electric shock.
Store the cordless garden drill in a dry place to prevent damage from moisture.
Using the rechargeable battery
Only charge the supplied battery using the charging cable supplied with the cordless garden
drill. The use of other charging cables harbors the risk of fire or damage to the battery or char-
ging cable.
Only use the rechargeable batteries supplied. Attempting to use other batteries may result in
fire or damage to the battery or the device.
Charging the battery

Connect the charging cable to the corresponding connection on the removed battery.

Charging the garden drill battery takes 1.5 hours. The red LED on the charger indicates
that the battery is charging. The green LED indicates that the battery is fully charged.

Make sure that the individual components of the cordless garden drill are clean before and
after use.

To clean, remove the battery and remove any dirt with a damp cloth.
