8. Leg adjustment mechanism
• Activate brakes on device
• Remove the top part of the hoist as one part
(handle, side frames and leg support) by removing
the two small bottom covers inside the side frames
(a) (use small screwdriver) and then un-tighten and
remove the four bolts and washers (b) (use 13mm
wrench) (see ill. 1)
• Pull out the assembled top part of the device and
set aside
• Place the base upside down on a secure surface
with access to the leg adjustment mechanism
• Remove bolts (1 & 2) (use TX30)
• Take off bracket (3) and shaft (4)
• Remove lock rings (5) (use proper lock ring tool)
• Remove leg adjustment rod assembly (6) and
spacer (7)
• Loosen setscrew (8) (use hex 2) (see ill. 2)
• Unscrew bolt for pedal (9) (use hex 5) and remove
pedal (10) and shaft (11)
• Remove bushing (12). Pry out using screwdriver
• Take out gear wheel (13)
• Insert new gear wheel (13)
• Install bushing (12). Use shaft (11) as guide
Ensure gear wheel align with bushing and
can rotate freely
• Install Shaft (11) and pedal (10) and tighten bolt
(9) (use hex 5)
Ensure pedal can rotate freely
• Tighten setscrew (8) (use hex 2)
• Install gear pull bar assembly (6) and spacer (7)
Ensure gear wheel are aligned with the
other gear wheel as shown (see ill. 4)
• Install new supplied lock rings (5) (use proper lock
ring tool)
• Place bracket (3) and shaft (4) on gear pull bar
assembly (6)
• Install and tighten bolts (1 & 2) to 10Nm
(use TX30)
Check that the leg adjustment mechanism
runs freely from side to side
• Place the assembled base on the floor, activate the
brakes, and position the assembled top part of the
device onto the base
• Install the 4 bolts and 4 washers (b) and tighten
bolts to 10Nm
• Install the two bottom covers (a)

Checklist after assembly - Make sure that:
• There are no unused screws, washers or covers
• The device appears stable and safe
• Legs move in/out in smooth movement when leg
adjustment is activated
• The leg support easily tilts up/down
• All wheels rotate and turn smoothly
Cleaning

Clean on a regular basis. Clean surfaces with a damp
cloth using an appropriate pH-neutral detergent. Do not
use solvents or strong liquids as this may damage surfac-
es on the device. For disinfection when needed; use iso-
Propyl alcohol or similar. Avoid abrasive cleaning products.
Remove hair and filth from the wheels to ensure
the wheels rotate freely and the brake functions
properly.
Make sure not to damage or remove labels when
cleaning.
