7.DO NOT operate the machine with a damaged cord or plug. If the plug or cord is
damaged, please discard the machine or return it to an authorized service facility for repair.
If the cord is damaged, please contact the manufacturer or a similarly qualified person in
order to avoid a safety hazard.
8.If the appliance is not working as it should, it has received a strong hit, has been
dropped, damaged, Ieft outdoors, or dropped into the water, do not use it and discard
the machine in order to avoid a safety hazard.
9.Do not stretch the cabIe or pIace the cabIe under strain. Always keep the cable
away from heated surfaces.
10.Do not run the cabIe under carpeting. Do not cover cabIes with throw rugs, runners
or similar coverings. Arrange cabIe away from traffic area and do not trip over the cable.
11.DO NOT UNPLUG BY PULLING THE CABLE DIRECTLY. To unpIug, grasp the pIug,
not the cabIe. The use of an extension cabIe is not recommended.
12.Do not put any object into the openings or the inlet grill.Do not use with any opening
bIocked, keep away from dust, lint, hair or anything else that may reduce or block the
airflow.
13.Do not use any cIeaning agents or Iubricants on this appIiance. UnpIug before
cIeaning or carrying out any maintenance.
14.AIways carry the appIiance by the base, do not carry it by the Ioop.
15.Turn off aII controIs before unplugging. UnpIug before connecting any tooI or
accessory.
16.To avoid a tripping hazard wind the cabIe when not in use.
17.Do not use near naked flames, furnaces, fireplaces, stoves or other high temperature
heat sources.
18.Do not use in conjunction with or directIy next to an air freshener or simiIar products.
19.Choking hazard - This remote control unit contains small batteries. Keep the remote
control away from children. DO NOT SWALLOW THE BATTERIES. If the battery is
swallowed, seek medical advice.
20.Ensure the fan is switched off from the supply mains before removing the guard.
NOTE:
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent
or similarly qualified people in order to avoid a hazard.
