Attaching the Hood

When attached, lens hoods reduce glare and
protect the front lens element. Use the hood
cap in place of the front lens cap to cap the
lens with the hood in place.
Warning Warning
If you attach the hood too tightly after attaching a fi lter to the lens, the fi lter may remain stuck to the hood when
the hood is removed. Do not attempt to forcibly separate the hood and fi lter, as the fi lter threads could injure your hands. Cover
both the hood and fi lter with silicone jar openers or the like and unscrew them using the palms of your hands.
