before first use

Before you use the appliance for the first time, please do as follows: Carefully unpack the appliance and remove all the
packaging material. Keep the material (plastic bags and cardboard) out of reach of children. Check the appliance after
unpacking for any damage, possible from transportation.
Place the enclosed batterie - CR2032 - in the batterie compartment on the bottom of the kitchenscale.
Wipe the outside of the kitchenscale only with a damp cloth.

Put the appliance on a flat and stable surface. This kitchen scale has sensor touch control. The keys are activated by the
touch of a finger. The sensor touch control functions also with the lid/bowl on the scale.
Switch the scale on by touching the ON/OFF/TARE key. The entire display will light up.
Wait about 2 seconds untill «0 g» appears on the display. The kitchen scale is now
ready for weighing.
Place the item to be weighted directly on the scale. The weight there of is displayed
immediately.
To select a different measurement unit press the UNIT key to change it accordingly to:
g = grams, lb = pounds, oz = ounces, ml = milliliter.
