Machining of titanium blanks
NOTE:
Machining titanium involves an increased risk of
fire despite water cooling. Metal chips can easily
ignite and cause a metal fire.
For titanium indications:
▷ Do not operate machine unsupervised.
▷ Have suitable extinguishing means readily

Information on the Sys-
tem
4.1
General
This User Manual describes various mod-
els of the system. Therefore, the represen-
tations can deviate from the actual
appearance of the machine.
The system is provided factory-calibrated. Prior to
delivery, a test object was factory-milled in order
to check the zero point settings. Possibly remain-
ing milled shavings/chips are not a reason for
rejection.
▷ After unpacking by the authorised shipping
partner: check for possible transport damage. In
case of transport damage, immediately file com-
plaint on site with the freight carrier.
▷ After installation by the authorised service
technician: Check scope of delivery and correct
function. In case of missing parts or incorrect
function, immediately file complaint on site with
the service technician.
