WHITE RICE, BROWN RICE, GRAINS
Prepare the required amount of rice in the inner cooking pot using the measuring cup provided. Rinse
the rice with water to remove excess starch, add salt and cover with water. The basic rice to water
ratio is 1:1.1. Round grain rice usually requires more water. Different types of rice can absorb different
amounts of water, so we recommend being careful when cooking the maximum amount of rice to
avoid overflow. We recommend soaking cereals (oatmeal, millet, groats) in cold water for 2 to 4 hours
before cooking.
LOW CARB
Place the rinsed rice in the Steaming basket. Place the steaming basket in the inner cooking pot.
Cover the rice with water, about 1 cm above the rice.
After cooking low-carbohydrate rice, a layer of precipitated carbohydrates will remain at the bottom of
the inner cooking pot, which can be easily washed off.
DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF WATER TO AVOID OVERFLOW.
