so weit entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn zurückdre-
hen, bis keine der Anzeigen A und B leuchtet. Den
Regler danach nicht weiter drehen, sonst wird
eventuell auch das Mikrofonsignal unterdrückt.
3) Das Mikrofon mit dem Schalter (22) einschalten.
Die Betriebsanzeige (23) leuchtet. Bleibt sie dun-
kel, muss eine neue Batterie eingesetzt werden.
Für die Tonübertragung am Mikrofon den Schalter
ganz nach oben schieben. In der Mittelstellung
steht der Sender auf Mute, d. h. der Sender arbei-
tet, aber das Tonsignal ist noch stumm geschaltet.
4) Am Empfänger muss jetzt eine der Empfangs-
anzeigen A oder B (8) leuchten. Bleiben die An-
zeigen dunkel, ist der Empfang zu schwach:
a Ist die Batterie im Sender verbraucht?
b Ist der Abstand Sender – Empfänger zu groß?
Die Reichweite beträgt ca. 30 m.
c Wird der Empfang z. B. durch Gegenstände in
der Übertragungsstrecke gestört?
d Lässt sich der Empfang durch Schwenken der
Empfangsantennen verbessern?
e Ist die Rauschsperre mit dem Regler SQUELCH
(9) zu hoch eingestellt? Siehe Punkt 2).
5) Die Empfangslautstärke kann an der LED-Pegel-
anzeige LEVEL (7) überwacht werden. Die Anzeige
ist unabhängig vom Lautstärkeregler VOLUME
(10). Wird das Mikrofonsystem durch eine zu hohe
Lautstärke am Mikrofon übersteuert, leuchtet der
rote Bereich der Anzeige auf. Die Lautstärke der
Schallquelle muss reduziert oder der Mikrofonab-
stand zur Schallquelle vergrößert werden.
Ist die Lautstärke am Mikrofon zu gering, ergibt
sich ein schlechter Rauschabstand. Die Lautstärke
der Schallquelle muss erhöht oder der Mikrofonab-
stand zur Schallquelle verringert werden.
6) Die Ausgangslautstärke der einzelnen Empfangs-
kanäle mit den Reglern VOLUME (10) an die Ein-
gänge des Verstärkers bzw. Mischpults anpassen.
Wird als Ausgang die Buchse MIXER OUT (16)
verwendet, mit den Reglern VOLUME das ge-
wünschte Lautstärkeverhältnis der Audiokanäle
untereinander einstellen und mit dem Schalter
5.3 Operation
1) Switch on the receiver with the POWER switch
(6). The power LED (5) lights up.
Further adjustments are to be made separately
for each transmission channel. The operation
steps below refer to one channel.
2) Switch on the threshold for the noise suppression.
Leave the microphone switched off for this purpose.
Set the SQUELCH control (9) to the position "10".
None of the two reception LEDs A or B (8) must
light up. If one or both LEDs light up, interferences
are received. To suppress these interferences,
turn back the SQUELCH control counter-clock-
wise until both LEDs A and B are extinguished. Do
not turn the control any further, otherwise the
microphone signal may also be suppressed.
3) Switch on the microphone with the switch (22).
The power LED (23) lights up. If it fails to light up,
a new battery must be inserted.
For sound transmission, set the switch on the micro-
phone to the upper position. In the central position,
the transmitter is switched to mute, i. e. the transmit-
ter operates but the audio signal is still muted.
4) One of the reception LEDs A or B (8) on the re-
ceiver must light up now. If they fail to light up, the
reception is too poor:
a Is the battery in the transmitter exhausted?
b Is the distance between transmitter and re-
ceiver too long?
The operating range is approx. 30 m.
c Is the reception disturbed e.g. by objects in the
transmission path?
d Can the reception be improved by turning the
reception antennas?
e Is the threshold for the noise suppression ad-
justed via the SQUELCH control (9) too high?
See item 2).
5) The reception volume can be monitored at the
LED LEVEL display (7). The display is independ-
ent of the VOLUME control (10). If the volume at
the microphone is too high causing an overload of
the microphone system, the red part of the display
will light up. Reduce the volume of the sound

7) Nach dem Betrieb nicht vergessen, auch die
Mikrofone auszuschalten, sonst sind bei dem
nächsten Betrieb die Batterien verbraucht.
6 Erweiterungsmöglichkeiten
Die beiden von Werk aus eingesetzten Kanäle arbei-
ten auf den Frequenzen 175,00 MHz und 180,00 MHz.
Durch Einsetzen von zusätzlichen Empfangsmodu-
len kann der Empfänger mit zwei weiteren Über-
tragungskanälen der Frequenzen 195,25 MHz und
197,10 MHz erweitert werden. Folgende Module aus
dem Sortiment von „img Stage Line" stehen zur Ver-
fügung:

Für jeden zusätzlichen Übertragungskanal wird ein
Sender und ein mit gleicher Frequenz arbeitendes
Empfangsmodul benötigt.
6.1 Empfangsmodul einsetzen
Das Einsetzen eines Empfangsmoduls in den Emp-
fänger ist in der Abb. 5 dargestellt.
1) Die Abdeckplatte (1 oder 4) abnehmen. Dazu die
Rastnase der Abdeckplatte mit einem Schrauben-
dreher ausrasten.
2) Die Abdeckplatte abnehmen.
3) Das Empfangsmodul wie gezeigt bis zum An-
schlag einschieben.

poor S/N ratio is obtained. Increase the volume of
the sound source or reduce the distance between
the microphone and the sound source.
6) Adjust the output volume of the individual re-
ception channels to the inputs of the amplifier or
the mixer via the VOLUME controls (10).
If the jack MIXER OUT (16) is used as an out-
put, adjust the desired volume ratio of the audio
channels among one other and adjust the output
level coarsely to the input of the subsequent unit
via the LEVEL switch (15).
7) After operation, remember to switch off the micro-
phones as well, otherwise the batteries will be ex-
hausted the next time the microphone system is
used.
6 Possibilities of Extension
The two factory-set channels operate at the fre-
quencies of 175.00 MHz and 180.00 MHz. By insert-
ing additional reception modules, the receiver can be
extended by two additional transmission channels of
the frequencies 195.25 MHz and 197.10 MHz. The
following modules from the "img Stage Line" range

ter and a reception module operating at the same fre-

6.1 Inserting the reception module
Fig. 5 shows the insertion of a reception module into
the receiver.
1) Remove the cover plate (1 or 4). For this purpose,
unlock the latch of the cover plate by means of a
screwdriver.
2) Remove the cover plate.
3) According to the drawing, insert the reception
module to the stop.
4) Connect the cable of the receiver to the pin
housing of the control panel.
5) Place the left side of the control panel on the left
edge of the front panel opening and push the
complete control panel into the opening until it
locks into place.
