hot surfaces. Do not immerse the plug, power cord, kettle and/or power base
in water or other liquids. To replace a damaged cable, contact the
manufacturer, an authorized service center, or a suitably qualified professional
to avoid hazardous situations. Install the device away from external heat
sources or other electrical appliances. Do not turn on an empty kettle. Do not
open the lid of the kettle while the water is boiling and for two minutes after
boiling. Be careful when pouring hot water, do not tilt the kettle with water too
sharply. Make sure the lid is tightly closed before lifting the kettle. Lift the kettle
by the handle only. Do not pour water below the "MIN" mark and above the
"MAX" mark on the inside of the housing. If the kettle is overfilled, water may
spill out of the kettle when boiling. Use the device only with the supplied power
base. The kettle is designed to heat and boil water only. Use purified water to
reduce scale formation. Unplug the kettle when not in use and before cleaning.
Do not use chemical and aggressive detergents, abrasive pastes, products
containing acids and solvents or metal sponges for cleaning. Do not allow

Preparing the device for use
Before using the device for the first time, clean it by doing the following:
1. Open the packaging and remove the device. Remove any packaging materials.
2. Place the power base on a flat, stable surface.
3. Open the lid of the kettle and fill with water up to the "MAX" mark.
4. Close the lid tightly and place the kettle on the power base.
