 When plugging and unplugging, always hold the plug; do not pull
on the cable.
RISK OF BURNS!
The touchable surfaces of the device become very hot during
operation; always hold the handle when opening and closing.
 Do not touch the waffle plates with your bare hands during
operation.
 Do not transport the device when it is hot – always let it cool down
first!
 During operation, hot steam can escape and condense on the
handle.
 Use oven mitts or gloves to prevent burns.
 Always allow the device to cool down before cleaning.
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Never immerse the device, power cord or plug in water or other
liquids.
 Do not touch the device with wet hands.
 When cleaning, make sure that no moisture penetrates into the
interior of the housing (ventilation slots). If this does happen,
unplug the device immediately.
 Do not place the device near sinks, wash basins, bathtubs,
swimming pools, etc. to avoid splashing water. Also make sure that
the surface is not damp.
 Never leave the device unattended during operation.
 The device must not be used outdoors.
 Regularly check the plug and connection cable for wear or damage.
If the connection cable is damaged or otherwise damaged, contact
an authorized specialist workshop. Never carry out repairs yourself.
Improper Repairs may pose significant risks to the user and
may also void the warranty.
 Maintenance and repair work may only be carried out by qualified
personnel. This is dangerous and therefore not permitted for
anyone else; there is a risk of injury and electric shock. This also
applies to replacing the power cable.
