Cleaning the Grill Plate
1. Pull the thermostat out of the connection socket. To do
this, press the lever on the thermostat so that it can be
pulled out easily.
2. Lift the grill plate out of the barbecue housing. Lift the grill
plate slightly on the right-hand side and pull it out slightly
to the top right.
3. First remove the coarsest residues with kitchen paper
or similar.
4. Clean the grill plate with a little washing-up liquid in
warm water. You can remove heavier soiling with a nylon
brush.
5. Rinse with clear water. Then dry the grill plate thoroughly.
- Do not use again until it is completely dry.
Cleaning the Grease Drip Tray
1. Carefully pull the grease drip tray out of the barbecue
housing. Make sure that nothing is spilt into the barbecue
housing.
2. Dispose of the grease. If necessary, wipe out the grease
drip tray with a piece of kitchen paper.
3. Clean the grease drip tray with a little washing-up liquid
in warm water.
4. Rinse the grease drip tray with clean water. Dry it care-
fully before refitting it.
Cleaning the Metal Lid
1. To clean the inside, first use kitchen paper or similar to
remove the coarsest food residues.
- If necessary, you can remove the metal lid completely.
To do this, open the metal lid and pull it slightly
upwards to lift the metal hooks on the hinges out of
the holders.
- To reinsert the metal lid after cleaning, proceed as
described in the chapter "Assembly point 10.".
2. Then clean the inside and outside of the metal lid with
a cloth or sponge moistened with washing-up liquid and
warm water.
3. Wipe with a clean cloth and clear water. Then dry the
metal lid thoroughly.

CAUTION:
When cleaning the thermostat, make sure that no mois-
ture gets into the inside of the thermostat.
1. You can wipe these parts with a slightly damp dishcloth.
Use a little washing-up liquid if necessary.
2. Then dry all parts thoroughly.
