weather. Do not leave the appliance outdoors after use.
• The appliance may only be operated with the thermostat
supplied.
• Keep the temperature sensor and the metal pins of the
socket clean.

heat-resistant surface.
• Keep a safe distance from easily flammable objects or
furniture.
• Do not use the appliance near explosive or flammable
materials.
• Do not move the appliance during operation.
• Do not use grill tongs or similar metal tools to turn the

Connected Load
The appliance has a total power consumption of 2400 W.
With this connected load, a separate supply line with a 16 A
household circuit breaker is recommended.

cross-section of at least 1.5 mm².
• Do not use a multiple socket as this appliance is too
powerful.

7. Place the barbecue housing on the standpipe.
8. Slide the grease drip tray into the barbecue housing until

9. Insert the grill plate (4) into the barbecue housing (7)
(see illustration E).
• To do this, hold the grill plate with both hands and
insert it into the barbecue housing with the ribbed
side facing to the right.
• Lower the grill plate slightly on the left-hand side and
push the connection socket for the thermostat (18)
into the opening for the thermostat connection.
• Then lower the right-hand side of the grill plate. Slide
the grill plate to the left until it is properly seated in the

into the two brackets on the barbecue housing.
• Close the metal lid.
11. Push the heating element (17) through the opening
into the connection socket (18) as far as it will go (see
illustration G).
- The rotary control must point upwards.
- Ensure that the metal pins engage correctly in the
holes provided.
CAUTION:
If the heating element is not inserted correctly,
excessive heating may occur. Damage or accidents
may result. Therefore, make sure that the heating
element is inserted correctly.
- When inserting the heating element, make sure that
you do not accidentally press the lever to unlock
the heating element. Otherwise the heating element
cannot be inserted correctly.

- Only transport the assembled appliance by the stand-
pipe.
- If you carry the appliance by the handles (6), lift it off
the standpipe. The appliance can then be used as a
table-top appliance.
