teach mode for teaching the valve drive to a room
thermostat.
In order to set the valve drive to teach mode, press
the channel button for longer than 3 seconds. The
antenna symbol on the display begins flashing.
Teach mode is exited after 20 seconds automatically
or after briefly pressing the channel button again.
The remaining teach mode time is shown on the
device display in seconds. If the teaching process
is underway, the antenna symbol is displayed conti-
nuously on the display.
6.5 Factory default setting
The valve drive can set to factory default setting at
any time. For that the button has to press for longer
than 10 seconds. Now all settings will become the
factory default settings. All partner ( room thermos-
tat, zentral unit) are canceled. The valve drive moves
back the control pin (E) completely and remains in
this state. The Display shows „A2".

Synchronization
To conserve the batteries, the valve drive is not
permanently set to receiving. Room thermostat and
valve drive establish a radio connection in defined
time intervals. This requires that both devices are
synchronized with one another. A correct synchro-
nization of the valve drive and the room thermostat
is indicated by the antenna symbol in the display of
the valve drive. A disrupted radio connection is indi-
cated by a flashing antenna symbol on the display.
If the radio connection between the valve drive and
the room thermostat is disrupted for a longer period
of time or if a device no longer sends because
the batteries are low, the valve drive attempts to
perform another synchronization once per hour. The
device is set to continuous reception for a maximum
of 184 seconds. In this case, the valve drive moves
to the stored fault position for the valve (factory
setting 15%). You can change the fault position after
teaching at any time on a room thermostat.
