Remove the battery cabinet cover (F) of the valve
drive and insert the batteries (B) in the valve drive
ensuring correct polarity.
After inserting the batteries, all segments on the
display (A) are actuated and then the software
version number appears on the display for a short
time. Then the valve drive moves the control pin (E)
completely back to make installation easier. During
this time the display shows „A1". If the control
pin (E) completely back the display shows „A2".

The valve drive fits on all standard valves
with M30x1.5 connection thread. For certain
heater valves, you will require an adapter piece.
The valve drive is provided with adapter pieces for
valves from company Danfoss (RAV, RA, RAVL).

Put the valve drive on the heater valve and fasten it
with the union nut. Hand tight is sufficient.
Press the channel button on the valve drive one time
briefly. The display shows "A3". The drive closes the
valve completely. If the valve is completely closed,
the device display shows "0%".

6.2 Using the provided adapter piece

Set the desired adapter on the valve. Use the pro-
vided screw and nut for fastening the adapter ring
with types RAV and RA. For type RAV, install the
provided plunger extension as well.
