Preparation for operation
POSITIONING OF THE UNIT
The ambient temperature must not exceed 40°C and ambient humidity should not
exceed 85%. Place the unit in a way that ensures good air circulation. Maintain a
minimum clearance of 10 cm from any wall of the unit. Keep the unit away from
any hot surfaces. Place the appliance on a heat-resistant surface! Always operate
the unit on a level, stable, clean, fireproof and dry surface and out of the reach of
children and persons of impaired mental, sensory and intellectual functions. Place
the unit in such a way that the mains plug can be reached at any time. Ensure that
the power supply to the unit corresponds to that specified on the identification
plate!
Use the appliance only in a horizontal position. Do not shake the appliance.
Before using the unit for the first time, disassemble all parts and wash them as
well as the entire unit.
3.3.
Working with the unit
Ground the housing of the unit using the ground terminal located on

the back of the housing.
2. Before connecting the appliance to the power supply, always verify that the
temperature control knobs are set to "0".
3. Connect the unit to the power source using the power cord. The green power
lights will illuminate.
4. Make sure the drain taps are in the closed position. Fill the tanks with clean
water.
Caution: The minimum level of water poured into the tank should be above
the heating element. Failure to do so may result in ignition of the heating
element, causing a serious hazard and voiding the warranty.
