ACCESSORIES
The following accessories are available:
Additional weight (5232071.1); Contour welding device (5232550);
The automatic welding machines can also be delivered directly with the mounted accessories, or the user
can convert them in just a few simple steps.
A sheet steel device box (5232551) is also available as an accessory.
The best results when using Herz accessories and spare parts.

CHANGING THE HEATING ELEMENT
Before working on the device, disconnect from the main power !!!
1.0. Changing the heating element
1.1. Swing out the hot air blower and lock it in place
1.2. Loosen four screws on the flange of the nozzle
1.3. Pull off the nozzle
1.4. Peel off the mica tube (handle with care - fragile)
1.5. Remove the sealing ring
1.6. Pull off the defective heating element
1.7. Insert new heating element - pay attention to marking, voltage and power!
1.8. Attach the mica tube
1.9. Slide on the sealing ring, position the holes
1.10. Slide on the nozzle and fasten with 4 screws
1.11. Adjust the nozzle again as described under basic settings on page 4
MOUNTING ACCESSORIES
!!! THE ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS ARE INCLUDED WITH THE ACCESSORIES !!!
MAINTENANCE
•
Clean the welding nozzle with a brass brush (5201330)
•
Check the device, power cord and plug for electrical and mechanical damage.
•
Keep the sliding axles and all moving parts clean and lubricate them occasionally with fine, acid-
free oil.
SERVICE AND REPAIR
The device should be checked by an authorized service center after approx. 1000 operating hours at the latest.
Inspections and repairs have to be executed exclusively by Herz authorised service centres.
